Filter Magazine's Top 10 of 2006, Day One:
Colin Meloy of The Decemberists

It’s that special time of year again and it’s a time for traditions; Christmas trees, menorahs, candy canes and Filter’s Annual Top Ten Extravaganza! Yes, Filter is offering a musical advent calendar where each day, instead of a chocolate behind the door, you’ll find one of your favorite artists telling you all about their 10 favorite albums of the year.

Today, we’re opening our very first door to find The Decemberists’ Colin Meloy. Colin took a break from touring and feuding with Stephen Colbert to tell us about his favorite releases of 2006.
